i have had my tracker about 5 years now. Bought it with around 95000 miles on it and now have about 206000 miles and going strong! Always starts in the coldest winters and in four wheel drive I can go nearly anywhere my toyota 4runner can go. off-road ability is amazing, With good tires and common sense it is agile and able to go into some places the bigger rigs can't get to. Tows a small trailer just fine. A/c works very well and heater is adequate for wisconsin winters. windows tend to fog in winter so run the heater with the compressor on and it will keep them clear. Seating in front is comfortable for me and the rear is fine for most people. gauges and controls all seem to be in the right place and within easy reach. only major repairs were the front hubs and bearings a few years ago. I'm a firm believer in this suzuki product and i'll never part with it!
  • Not the greatest, but a good value on a 4x4

I got this car as my first car during college. Since I was going to school in Utah, I needed something with four-wheel drive that wouldnt break the bank. My Tracker fit the bill. It drives really well if you know how to take care of it. In the 2.5 years Ive owned it, Ive put 40,000 miles on it. Also, it is a tiny car (about the size of a Ford Focus) and can fit in pretty much any parking spot because its so small. But with all the head room, you can fit a lot in the back, especially when you fold the rear seats down. However, I have had to replace a view things, even though I bought it with very few miles. The interior features havent held up and some exterior things (like the rocker panels joints) have rusted. Ive had to replace a ton of things from the common (battery, alternator) to the annoying (all the components in the rear drum breaks) to the straight up bizarre (the wire from my battery to the alternator had eroded). The good thing is that most of the components are on the cheaper side. Overall, if youre willing to put in the work and throw away 300 every 4-5 months, this car will get you where you need to go. The one thing you can rely on on with this kind of car is the engine, which is a Suzuki and as long as you change the oil every 3000-4000 miles, this engine will last forever. The only problem is the rest of the car might not!

I bought my Tracker used and have had it for 4 years. It only has 69,000 miles on it. It is perfect for in town driving and great on trips. Never had any trouble with it.
